How You Can Help - Consider Select Giving Opportunities
As a donor to the Father Bernard Youth Center, you will make a tremendous difference in the lives of many Catholic youth throughout the region by helping to make this exciting facility a sustained reality. The Fr. Bernard Youth Center is already having a huge impact on the youth who attend retreats or other events here. If you could see the love and faith that our young people possess, and how that love is expressed during adoration, the Mass or reconciliation, you would understand our excitement and our hope that the FBYC continues its mission - that of writing the love of God on each of their hearts. Please consider giving us the instruments to do that!
Three-year pledges in the form of cash or appreciated assets, such as stock or mutual funds, are encouraged. Gifts of appreciated assets can often be to a donor's advantage since the tax deduction they are entitled to, is based on the full value of the asset on the date it is given, without any capital gains obligation to the donor. (Note: Since the FBYC does not engage in providing legal or tax advice, if you are considering a charitable gift other than cash, please seek advice from a licensed professional).
Donors may contribute monthly, quarterly, semi-annually or make annual payments on their pledge, as they request. All donors will be given the option of being included by name in a "Donor Book" and, possible on one of the more public displays to be placed in an appropriate location in the building. Those wishing to remain anonymous may do so. If they prefer, however, donors may request an inscription that reads either, "In memory of " or, "In honor of "

Outdoor Activity Area (leadership course, sports field) - $113, 000.
Etched-Glass Icons (6) - Each is $10,000. (2 already sponsored, 4 remain)
Fireside Room - $ 50,000.
Sacristy (vestments, sacred vessels) - $ 30,000
Reconciliation Chapels (3) - $ 25,000. each
Disabled Ramp on outside of Marmion Hall - $ 5,000.
Marion Shrine - $ 5,000.
Scholarship Fund - $3,000. per weekend retreat, 50 weeks / year

The staff of the Fr. Bernard Youth Center, want to thank you for your past support, both spiritually and financially. The necessary renovations to transform the Casey Commons complex into the Fr. Bernard Youth Center are nearly complete, and many of our Catholic youth have already begun to take advantage of the facilities, especially the sacred and beautiful St. Anthony's Chapel, the Adoration area and the reconciliation rooms. This could not have happened without your support and the support of hundreds of people.
