Youth ministers gather for retreat.
YOUTH MINISTERS CONVENE . . . Last month, 37 parish youth ministers from throughout the Portland Archdiocese met for an annual gathering at the Father Bernard Youth Center in Mount Angel. Group Publishing from Loveland, Colo., presented an in-service and several archdiocesan staff updated the youth ministers on new policies and trends. The highlights of the gathering were the prayer times and the evening social and bonfire. The gathering is sponsored by the Archdiocesan Office of Youth and Young Adult Ministry — ym.archdpdx.org.
