Father Bernard Youth Center staff offer their thanks

Catholic Sentinel

“To the Sentinel:

We at the Fr. Bernard Youth Center would like to most gratefully thank Archbishop John Vlazny, Auxiliary Bishop Ken Steiner and all the other clergy, religious and guests who were present at our Mass of Dedication and Blessing. Thanks to everyone who has helped make this dream a reality; their spiritual, financial and volunteer support have enabled us all to become partners in the most exciting venture we can take as Catholics-that of sharing the love of Christ.

Our world has an insatiable hunger for the truth, especially our young people whose faith and morals are under daily attack. The center exists for one purpose: to facilitate an honest and loving relationship between our Lord and his children, in a safe, sacred and fun environment.

Our Catholic youth are the very future of our Church, yet the current tide of secular society is sweeping them out into deeper and treacherous waters. The center offers safe harbor, a non-threatening alternative, to the current culture.

Finally, a big thank you to the staff of the Sentinel, who have invested their time and talent in bringing the center alive in print for all to see. Your efforts to evangelize the truths of our beautiful faith have not gone unnoticed. May God continue to bless you, your readers and everyone who seeks the love and truth of Jesus Christ.
